LightSource discovered his passion for music early on—picking up the drums at age four before falling in love with synthesizers in the early ’90s. He spent his childhood crafting mixtapes and playing along to synth-pop icons like Duran Duran, The Human League, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, and Pet Shop Boys. Launched in 2012, LightSource brought together software and iconic hardware synths like the Novation Xio, MicroKORG, and Yamaha CS1x, culminating in his 2018 debut album, Another Day. Following a hiatus, LightSource returned in 2024 with renewed creative drive and a clear vision: delivering “an ’80s soundtrack for the 21st century.” Human-made music, forever.
